Why Your Laptop Won’t Turn On or Boot After a Windows or BIOS Update

A laptop that worked yesterday can feel dead after one update, one restart, or one security setting change. The screen stays black. The keyboard lights flash once and quit. The fan spins, then stops. Or Windows begins to load, only to throw a blue screen or loop back to repair mode.
